Launched in 2023, Global Gooners is an initiative that brings supporters from around the world to our home in north London: Emirates Stadium.

Together with Emirates, we’ve been searching for a supporter who has who has built a lifelong bond with a culture and country far from the place they live. This season, we’re delighted to introduce you to Peerawas Daengsupha – or ‘Pipe’ – from Bangkok, Thailand.

Pipe joined us as we hosted Manchester City in the Premier League back in September. Watch as he experiences a matchday in N5 for the first time – all courtesy of Emirates.

As a member of the Arsenal Thailand Supporters Club, Pipe spends every matchday with friends and family. It’s a ritual defined by unity, joy and a passion that continues to grow.

Pipe’s love for the club is bigger than football. Arsenal introduced him to British music and culture, sparking a connection with London that shaped his identity from thousands of miles away.

For this year’s instalment of Global Gooners, Emirates brought Pipe home to N5 for a once-in-a-lifetime Arsenal experience. As part of the trip, he enjoyed a tour of Emirates Stadium before heading to welcome the players as they arrived at the ground. We also arranged a pitchside interview for Pipe where, along with the Emirates cabin crew, he watched our first-team stars warm up ahead of taking on Manchester City.

After that, he got to enjoy a thrilling game – Gabriel Martinelli’s brilliantly taken last-minute equaliser proving the highlight of his trip to Emirates Stadium.

GLOBAL GOONERS STORIES

Raghukul from India

Raghukul is the definition of a Global Gooner having lived in all corners of the globe but has never had the opportunity to come to Emirates Stadium. In acknowledgement of Raghukul’s global support - from pre-season matches in the USA to the 2019 Europa League final in Azerbaijan – Emirates flew him over for an extraordinary experience as we came out 1-0 victors against Chelsea.

Haruka from Japan

Haruka never misses a game, even when it means waking up at 3:30 local time. While he often watches solo, he never feels alone supporting The Arsenal. In recognition of his unwavering support, Emirates flew him out to London for his first ever visit to the UK, where he enjoyed the ultimate VIP matchday experience as we beat Chelsea 5-0 at Emirates Stadium.

Adrian from Kenya

Our home may be in N5, but the Arsenal family is global. After being selected as the lucky winner of our Global Gooners competition, Adrian had an unforgettable experience as Emirates enlisted the help of Frimmy and club legend Gilberto Silva for a very special matchday.
